Project Description:

The Nestlé –Lipa Factory houses the factories for Milo and the Nestlé breakfast cereals. In 2009, the Nestlé-Lipa Factory was scheduled to undergo certification for OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Standards as part of Nestlé's corporate policy and direction on environment, health, and safety.

Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Controls (HIRADC) is a requirement of OHSAS 18001, providing the core planning element of OHSAS.

Innogy conducted the HIRAC Workshop with Nestlé-Lipa Factory personnel to equip them with the skills necessary to initiate planning for OHSAS.

Innogy utilized the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Facility Hazard Assessment (FHA) as tools in determining the significant hazards within the plant.
